Quit Stats

Quit Stats has been designed and commissioned by Mansionhouse Healthcare to assist with daily management of smoking cessation services.

Prior to being our smoking cessation contracts in the West Midlands we carried out an evaluation of what information we would require in “real time” and what statistics would assist us in monitoring performance.

We decided that “Quit Stats” should have the following attributes;

• Capable of storing client records
• Search function for quick access to client records
• Should have a good user interface so that mistakes are difficult to make thus ensuring that “clean” data is available for the preparation of statistics
• Must have the ability to deliver statistics on the key reporting criteria which is stipulated by the Department of Health
  
  - Gender
  - Ethnicity
  - Age
  - Socio Economic Classification
  - Smoking Status
• To comply with the key outputs of our contract “Four & Twelve Week Quits” the system must be able to calculate when these are due and alert our staff to ensure that “Quits” are not missed
• The four & twelve week quits should be represented in graph format so that team performance and revenue can be assessed on a daily basis
• Should be linked with the live website so that class times and venues can be updated without involving our web developers
• Should be able to send motivational text messages to service users, and have the functionality to make a service user “exempt” from receiving text messages
• Must be able to represent class attendance in graphical format
• Can deliver in graph format the response to various marketing activities as this would assist us in improving our awareness of services
• To have the capacity for multi users, each member of staff has their own log in details. This protects all parties involved as our service support team can assess the system to see what activity has taken place
